My SG bumper has a 2" receiver. Unlike most receivers, the bolt to secure the hitch goes in vertically. Most other receiver-hitch configurations involve inserting a pin horizontally through the receiver and the hitch. Anyone know where I can find one that works?
I already have a hitch with a shackle. I need a hitch with a ball so I can pull a trailer.

1/2in drill bit should solve your problem. Just pur the new hole somewhere away from the old one.
Also remember that thing is only rated class II.
How big a trailer you planning on?

I want to be able to tow a small trailer or series vehicle. Will it be adequate? If not, can anyone recommend a way to beef it up?

Humm,
Adequate maybe. A series 88 on a tow bar goes at least 3000lbs. Guess how I know that. Class II is what 3500? Call SG and ask them. The class II rating really soured me to their rear bumper. I think placing strucral supports a la disco II to the frame rails would make it safe but I have no recolection as to what it looks like so I really don't know.
