Hi Guys, I just bought an '01 SD7. I want to upgrade the the stereo, but since it's a lease I will need to make some compromises. Since I have the "occasional use seats" Which get used regularly, I need a subwoofer that is out of the way. The factory setup which mounts on the rear door is about $300 in parts plus an amp. Or I was thinking of fabricating a bracket to mount a 6 inch bazooka tube up against the headliner between the two rear fold-down headrests. Any recomendations on which would give me better sound? I haven't heard the factory subs, but thought of wiring them with a spkr level converter to aftermarket amp,any idea how much power they can handle? The bazooka is designed to be corner loaded so I don't know how great it would do in my proposed location, especially with only 6" model. Thanks. Michael

Infinity makes this great subwoofer with a built in Amp for around $400. It's compact, has a strong metallic grille and sounds pretty darn good. Sorry I don't have the model #. I have a 6" bass tube but it doesn't sound as good I think.
