Thanks to all for the heated locker debates. Helped me a lot in making the run for a Detroit/TT combo with GBR 4.10's. From a price-performance perspective, it made more sense for me.

Thanks,

Tom

No, just the parts. A local shop will be doing the install while I watch over the shoulder and help as much as I can. Won't really be able to do it myself afterword, but will be that much more prepared if I have any problems in the future.

YES, I am SURE!!! Please, please, don't start debating! I will have to cancel all orders and start over again!!!

Basically, I would like to have a fully locking front diff, but I don't want to buy the axles right now.

tom,

so, when you upgrade the axle shafts, you'll change to some ARB locker in the front?

Ho -

Maybe, I don't know. I would like to hope in my mind that there TracTech's electric TruTrac will be available in a year or so for the front that performs well. Wouldn't mind doing an ARB, either. I figure I will ride for a while with the TrueTrac and see what I can and can't do with it, then upgrade later if necessary for where I wheel. I figure I can easily sell the truetrac when the times comes to upgrade if necessary.

Just didn't want to plunk down the extra cash right now for compressor, axles, cv's, whatever. Especially since I still need other stuff (winch, sliders, bumpers)
