I'm in the process of replacing my rotoflex. Is there any trick in getting the seal out of the end of the driveshaft? It seems completely stuck.

Mike,
I had the same question when I replaced mine. I figured that since the coupling came with the new seal I must have to change it. I called the dealership about this and they told me that it was not necessary to replace it. Whether or not this is correct that is I what I did---and so far I have experienced no adverse effects from doing so.

where did you buy the u-joint shaft? Was it used? How much $?

This is just second-hand info - haven't done it myself, but supposedly grease pumped into the cavity at pressure will help push the old one back out - again just second hand info

Chris,
After messing around for a while trying to remove the old seal, I gave up and just put the drive shaft back on.
