My 96' Disco is new to me this week.
My front bumper has a slight sag to it - perhaps it got pushed downwards by the previous owner (no signs of accident damage - just the sag )
The SRS light is on too. (sometimes steady, sometimes blinking).
Could these be related?
Can I bend back the bumper/front-end without the airbag going off? Am I destined to replace the airbag wiring harness?
So:
1-how do I cure the SRS light?
2-how should I go about bending the front end back up?
Suggestions?

About the SRS light.. you'll most likely have to have the dealer hook it up to the test book computer to let you know what the problem is.. mine was a faulty spiral cassette that needed to be replaced (for which they promptly attempted to overcharge me for the part + labor).

Don't go bending on the bumper without pulling it off first. The front bumper is not all that strong, nor are the front 'horns' on the frame. Your bumper is held on by 4 bolts and can be removed in about 20 minutes. Look at the bolts and mounting holes. The problem should become readily apparent as soon as you remove it. One of my bolts was nearly sheared off. I have a spare front bumper that I would be willing to sell cheap if it turns out that the bumper is bent.( $50.00 + shipping off of my 98 Discovery )

LoL,
Mike
