I found some rust under the carpet in the back of our discovery a few days ago. What?!?! Rust on a Rover?!? I was shocked ;-)
I have never been much of a paint and body type so I am looking for some advice on anything I can do to slow the rust down. At some point in the future I will fix it properly (cut'n weld) but it wont be for a while. Any advice on slowing the progress of the rust?
Thx.

The earlier post was entire correct. Scrape off the worst and cover it with POR 15. It is an amazing product. They have a couple of starter kits that are pretty inexpensive. Be sure to always wear gloves when painting as it is permanent (sort of like a cheap tatoo!). I have been using it for a year and nothing even comes close!

I already ordered one of the 'sample' kits to give it a shot. It was about $20 with shipping. I am interested to see how well it works.
Thanks
