Bought the 255-85-16 Bf Mt's today, should I buy the OME HD 2 inch lift or wait for John at Rovertym and his lift for Disco 2's? I have stock bumper and will probably only replace the rear until late next year. . I would like as much lift as possible with just coil/strut combo, Thanks for your info.

He should have springs available now, the spring mounts for Disco1 and 2 should be the same. I personally do not like other spring sets because they have different heights for drivers and passenger sides.

is 255/85/R16 a 33" tire? I thought it was, in which case you may not have a choice but to do some cutting.....I could be wrong...:)

Gil I think he has a DII so no cutting if you remove the front valance.

They fit the II pretty nicely. No hacking there..

Are there any pics of a Disoc2 with this size tire?

Yes ,I run 285/75/16 ats,32.9 in tall and 11.5 wide,on my DII.
No rubibing ,but I do run a 3 in lift up front and 3 in modified SLS at the rear.
Take a pick at George`s DII
