Live and learn. My new-to-me 96 was having panel lighting issues, so I starting pulling fuses. I pulled an accessory fuse, and the radio went off. When I replaced the fuse, the radio display read "CODE" and "the music died". I am assuming that I triggered the radio anti-theft device, and it is begging me to enter a code number to reset the thing. Being a second owner, I was not given any codes - the original handbook, et al, was missing.
Help me get the sounds back, please. . . .

If you bought it privately, the previous owner may have the code card. Otherwise, any Land Rover dealer can get you the code. You will need to give them the vin, and provide proof of ownership, of course.

Usually it is on service printouts too. If you entered a wrong code 3 times you have to wait an hour with it on.

Thank you all, I got the code from the dealer, and am now in musical heaven. Are there any other codes I need to know about for future tribulations??
