Im looking for a way to relocate the warn solonoid box....anybody have some decent pics that might show me where they mounted this puppy? Im thinking under the hood would work, but what about location under there, re wire ect....
Im no electrician by any means, but can I just take that "W" box apart, extend the wires with some, from ,say home depot or something?

I put my SW X9 solonoid pak in where that stupid
bottle jack used to be - in the RHD battery well.
Fit's in there great. Get some 2/0 cables made
up to combat the extra length and hit the road.
BTW - you can bore a 1" hole in the plastic of the
grill and mount the remote plug there...way cool.

Exactly what I did too hole in grill and all. But I put the solinoid under the PS resivoir so you can still put the jack in there.

...plus all that ATF leaking from the power
steering res will keep the solenoids well lubed.

It would be funny if it were not true.

The jack has since been replaced with a bottle of ATF to keep it topped off.

Of course we like the "stupid" bottle jack so it went in the back with the rest of the stuff. If anyone finds a jack with a cradle top like that let me know as I want some more of them.

...you can always throw it at somebody. That's
one good use for it. Throw it at the guy who's
trying to burn through your winch yarn with his
lighter !

Burning the winch yarn?
That's cruel.
