Hi my sunroof in my disco started a grinding noise when it opens,it almost seems like it doesnt go back as far as it used to I want to prevent burning the motor out heck my back one just quit working all together so im not having good luck with sunroofs any help would be appreciated thanks.....

First step is to lube it. General purpose gease on the tracks and pivot points helps. Or, a good bike lube (like tri-flow) might work, too. See if this helps. Be careful not to over-grease it as the excess grease will just collect dirt.
