I just ordered a rear bumper with the works, skid plate, welded in hitch. I am wondering if anyone has done the install and could give me detailed pointers. Thanks in advance!

After breaking off all the old OEM fasteners, it's
not too much problem for the bumper. The skid
plate is another story. If it's anything like
mine, be prepared to swear, cut, weld and refit.
It's not gonna fit. I'm not 100% sure I buy that
"LR's have crappy tolerences..." shit...

Once you get the skid plate on, it works great.
I had to cut about 0.25" off each mounting rail
and reweld the ends to get everything to line up.

Oh, if you live anywhere where the climate is a
little harsh, be prepared to have surface rust
in a year.

Actually, I like the bumper...

I have just replaced a tail light bulb in my 95 Discovery and when I did this the whole right side lights don't work. The left side works fine. What the hell did I do. And can it be fixed?
