I've sorted out the front with the addition of another standard recovery "ring" on the RHS. With a couple of D shackles and a short length of HD chain I can hitch the front of the vehicle up safely and easily but the rear end has me wondering.

Has anyone set up the rear with recovery points on the outside (LHS & RHS) of the chassis rails suitable for Hi-Lift jacking? I can lift the whole rear end centrally from the towing hitch but this isn't all that stable or safe and have noticed that attempting to lift from just off from centre just causes the vehicle to slide sideways off the jack. I reckon the lifting points needs to be further out either side - say on the outside edges of the chassis rails.

I am prepared to have some points welded to the towing frame or attached to the chassis rails - any bright ideas would be appreciated. The rear bumper is standard LR & I don't really want to change that.
