Some time ago there was a string here about mounting a CB radio in Disco's. I just finished an installation of one on the back of the cubby between the front seat backs. It went in neatly - although it wasn't very quick - it took me longer to figure out how to loosen the cubby cover than the actual installation of the radio bracket. It only takes up a few square inches of space there, and is quite accessable. Also, it doesn't interfere with folding the back seats for more cargo space. An unexpected benefit is the lid for the cubby now only opens about two-thirds of the way back before it rests on the face of the radio in stead of floping all the way back into the back seat floor space. I got the original idea off the Spanish Trail web site by Perrone Ford in Florida who put a CB there in his RR, but it's a neat idea for us as well.
