How do you (run) the wires for 4 roofrack lights in an adventure rood rack.

In loom afixed along the side of the windscreen then coming out of the loom underneeth each light in turn with the loom zip tied to the back of the lower bar.

I have 4 hella 500's mounted on my roof rack. I ran the lights on two seperate switches. I ran the two center lights on one switch and the two outside lights on another. I created a common ground to lower the number of wires that I had to run down the A-Pillar. I then ran a ground from each light to the roof rack. I ran the ground from the roof rack down the A-Pillar to the common ground on the frame. I wired each set of lights in series and ran the wires down to relays mounted to the firewall. I ran the hot wires to the front of the fuse box (that way the lights only worked when I turn on the ignition key.

I ran the hot wires (for the relays) through the firewall right behind the washer resevior to dash mounted switches. I put the switch carrier where my ashtray use to be. It was a fair amount of work, but the final result is very clean.

Here is a picture of the relays. I ran two 30 amp relays for the Hellas on the roof rack. The other 15 amp relay is for the backup light mounted to the rear of the roof rack.

Mike - ditto the clean setup comment...do you have more info on your bank of switches that you installed where your ashtray used to be (i.e. part #)? Or is is simply a duplicate of the stock switch bank under your clock (looks like it in the pictures, but thought I'd ask to be sure).

Thanks for all of the kind compliments.

The switch carrier is the same as the one on the left containing the cruise control. It is a direct swap with the ashtray (slide one out, slide the other right in). I guess this is one of the benefits of a vehicle that is made to be both left and right hand drive. I used three of the fog light switches. The switches are keyed for the carrier, but any switch will fit in any position. You just have to push really hard.
