Ok guys I know one of you can answer this one.
Whenever it rains...moisture etc. I get the super squeak from my front belt.
It didn't do this before I had the gaskets, seals (replaced) so I am wondering if it could be off some when the reassembled my non leaking Disco.
Its driving me nuts...Please any info is appreciated...Hopefully the answer,
Will

Did you try replacing the belt? Perhaps its getting squeaky in its old age....

Is this from your serpentine belt or your seat belt?
As a temporary fix, take a bar of ivory soap and coat the inside of the serpentine belt with a light coating of soap. If the sound goes away, then it is the belt that is slipping. The serpentin belt is scheduled to be replaced every 60,000 miles, but the LR Techs say that 80,000 is the real max.
Also, it is possible to route the serpentine belt incorrectly. There should be a diagram of the belt routing on the under the hood. Compare the picture to your setup.
LoL,
Mike B.

I would go with Timing Belt installed incorrectly. Re-route.

Will,
New belt won't help if you route it incorrectly again.
