Hey All

here is another aftermarket conversion...

Keys... i have a 95 Disco, when i wanted a spare key the dealer wanted to soak me. so i went down to the local Key maker and were able to find a standard key mfg by Cole

the blank is a VL5. the "trick is to make sure the depth (long wise!) is the same as your original... it took a couple of cuts but once we figured out what the problem was it was well worth the trouble... cost of the key...

$1.95 + $2.00 for the cut!!!

way better then the dealers price!!!

yeah I had a similar situation, I lost my fuel cap then I went to my local dealer and they wanted $18 for a new one! So...I went to my local Autozone and picked one up for $5.
