Where is it already? Does anybody know when this thing will be coming out? I would love to know a possible price as well. I like the idea of a selectable locker like the ARB, but it's complex and costly as well.
Thanks,

If you want a locker now, you might as well buy something else. its unlikely that we will see a rover application for at least another year.
Expect the price to be comparable to ARB.
OTOH, I will be the first in line for one! I have a truetrack in the front, and while it is excellent, especially on the street, a full locker would be a real asset on the trail, IMO.

At the SEMA show last year, the guy said one of
the first applications would be for Dana axles.
They are working on a Ford 9" version, which is
almost the same as a Rover diff, but it's a LOT
tougher design then the 'rear access' diff.
If you actually look at the prototype, the actuator
shaft for the electric solenoid runs through the
rear cover on a GM or Dana diff and they give you
a new cover with the kit. They really don't
have a clue on how they're going to do it with a
drop-out diff...
Too bad - I want one, too !

Yes, I am hoping for one, too. I held off on going with the ARB up front in hopes for this if I decide the TT isn't enough. Maybe we should start a letter-writing campaign?

From what I have dug up , its not a full locker. Its basically the same old TT but you can electrically preload it. Yes it will lock harder but still wont be a full locker...

Actually the Ox locker looks hellaciously beefy for the cherokees and it's mechanical. Now that'd be nice and the machined handle simply looks cool. Umm, about that 1/2" hole you have to drill somewhere for the cable.....!
Heck, just get the ARB unit. You need an air source on board anyway for other stuff!! They seem to be reliable enough.

Nothing wrong with a little bit of slip Tom. Its nothing your brain cant overcome on the trail... Brains are what does it anyway....

Kyle,
You haven't seen my brain. Pea-sized, not very functional.

Actually Kyle,
From what I've read it's a regular TT when not engaged. When engaged it's a spool. For me that's the best of both worlds. I can't wait to see one. I will have to check into that preload thing as well as this is the first time I've heard that. Did you actually see it first hand?
Thanks

Yeah. I wish they got their shit together. They always market their products way before they become available. It was supposed to be out in April, then June. I bet we won't see anything till next year anyway.
