On my 95 disco, it seems like it is taking longer and longer for this light to shut off. Sometimes, it doesn't shut off at all! Is there a reset switch or something I can jiggle to make it go off?
Thanks!

You proably have either a loose or bad ABS sensor.

Try backing up after you've shifted out of diff-lock. Just a few feet, and it works even better when you have the steering wheel turned all the way. That turns the light off.
A LR mechanic explained this to me. He said that sometimes the sensor gets "stuck", even though the transfer case is really NOT in diff lock.

That sometimes works to unlock the T-case and shut the Diff lock light off. However, Twink is asking about the ABS light. On a working ABS system, the Anti Lock light will go out after the vehichle reaches 5mph. If the system does not get the signals it expects at that point, the ABS light will stay on. The most common culprits seems to be a bad or loose ABS sensor.

Is there a non-dealer way to diagnose it?

Oops! You're right, Axel.

I have the same problem. I have knocked in my sensors yet the light stays on. My brother told me the sensors should generate a small AC voltage when the wheels rotate. So I plan to check the sensors by rotating the wheels, by hand, and monitering the voltage. Maybe I can find which sensor has failed or if it is the sensors.
