Bear with me folks. Anybody out there have a Disco II with a "stock" ARB installed? I just took delivery of mine (NEW) and cannot figure out the install. I think some other components are missing. All I have is the bumper. No bolts, no instructions etc... Wondering if there is some sort of bracket that mounts to the ARB for proper fit.

There is box that should come with it that includes the crash mounts, the hardware,2 lights and instructions.
maybe they got separated during shipment.
Chase it down,and good luck.

George is right. Track down the box with whomever you bought it from.

If you do run into difficulties, you can contact ARB in Seattle directly. They have an excellent support/tech staff up there.

What other brands did you look at before getting ARB? I am in the same process. How does it compare to say Safari Gard or Trek Outfitters??

thanks,

carl

I would say price is one factor...but I believe approach angle is the main issue.

Hey Carl,

I got a really good deal on the bumper. It was on "sale" at British Pacific. I took a close look at the Safarigard bumper on a D-90 next to my brother in laws ARB on his D-90. I think the SG is a good product, but in my own personal opinion and my experience with his D-90, I prefered the ARB. Yes there may be less approach angle, however the ARB appears to be more "Stout" or rugged. Besides that the ARB bumper was significantly less (I only paid 595.00) I can put the "change" towards a winch.

Carl, what year disco do you have? What have you done so far?

Ron

PS-Nathan if you happen to read this thanks for your help!!!!
