Hey Guys,
I have lost my copilot for the upcoming trip that the Old North State Land Rover Society is making to Colorado on June 29th. We are planning on convoying out to Colorado over the weekend and crossing the Divide on the fourth and camping that night to see the fire works everywhere. The plot is to hit as much of the surrounding trails as possiblie and head back the following Friday or Saturday! If anyone is in the North Georgia area and may be able to go I have an empty set and I am looking for someone to fill it. My name is Larry Harrell and you can get a hold of me at the e-mail below!!!

Larry - I will be in the Durango/Silverton/Ouray area from the 1st though the 6th. Where exactly are you planning to be on the 4th? Might like to try and meet up for at least part of the trip.

FYI, All of you heading to Colorado should be aware of the passes that are open and closed. Check out www.bushducks.com for an update. Late June/Early July is generally a bit too early to guarantee that all the passes are open.

And please TREAD LIGHTLY! The rangers in Colorado are pretty sensitive to those trying to bypass into the meadows, etc.... I'm already aware of two incidents this summer with people trying to create new bypasses around snow banks or other obstacles. This behavoir will only lead to further road closures!
