They fit where the oval things go. I prefer the warn reciever shackle for rear recovery but I have seen the jate rings fitted in back as well.

Their catalog arrived at my house just two days ago, but I can't seem to find any in there. Do you have to talk to them about it?

They are in the series/D90 catalog. Or call and ask. Be advised they are about 70 a pop.

Rover Accessories. $30 for used ones (with new hardware) and about $60 for new.

ron thanks for the help
i have had a look at the 'WARN' web site at the reciever shackle for rear recovery but it talks about a class 3 hitch i think this replaces the tow hitch is that right it must be an american item as i have not heard of it in the uk.
mega web site very usefull

The warn goes in the class 3 reciever which you may not have. In the UK craddocks should have Jate rings cheap, or any of the military rover breakers.

Cheers

are "jate" rings anything like those old galvanized steel recovery loops that use to bolt to the front chassis horn on the series LR's? I had a S-IIa in '69 and still have the recovery rings - unused - from that truck. I've thought about welding one to a plate for the rear tow point like that shackle thing Rover$north sells. Too bad there aren't any bolt pattern matches on my D-1.

Jerry:

Don't go too crazy here. If you have a tow bar that slips into the 2" receiver (less than $20.00 at Walmart), just use that. Replace the tow ball with a D Shackle and you are all set. A cheaper solution is to just use the hitch pin to hold your recovery strap ($4.95).

Thanks,
Mike B.

Jerry,

The Jate rings are different, they are just loops with a bolt that goes through that mount to the holes for the lashing eyes in the back or in the front. Seen on military 110/90s.

Ron

PS D rings are cool
