I saw this add in a professional trucker magazine that I picked up last weekend. The device is locked to the air valve stem on the tire. When the thief steals your rig, the tire will deflate within 1/4 mile. The ad says it's popular in Europe. For $30 I guess it's a cheap insurance. If the thief has enough time, he can put the spare on I guess! More than likely he'll leave the vehicle and run.
