Help! I was in the local LR dealer today for a warranty visit and asked about a shop manual (or CD) for my '01 DSII. I was told that there are no LR printed manuals available to owners and the CDs that dealers use are not available to owners either. What's up with that?
Does that mean a Chilton manual instead of anything from LR?

Can't even get a Chilton/Haynes manual yet either. Why not just let them do the work while it's still under warranty? You won't see a manual until after the warranty has run-out on the oldest DII, and probably not 'till a few years after then. This is how they make sure they get a bit of money out of you. Shoot, the Haynes manual for the Disco 1 didn't come out until about '99. Chilton doesn't even make a Land Rover workshop manual, and probably never will.
