I was curious if anyone was running a jointed front arm on thier disco. Looking at getting offset ones to match the lift and was wondering if the jointed arm was quite going down the road and if anyone had any dislikes, or likes about it. Finally some info on who makes these would be appreciated too. Thanks Dan

I'm assuming by jointed you mean "hinged" in which case you'd want to "pin it" before driving down the road. Driving with one side hinged on road is going to be sketchy in panic maneuvers and when braking-

When offroading and unpinned, you have to be very careful with hard braking going downhill...use extreme caution at that point as the load tries to rotate the unpinned side up and may pull the truck hard to the unpinned side...

I do most of my driving around town and was mainly curious if the pin was noisy or not but I didn't think about the effects of hard braking off road and the truck wanting to pull hard to one side. I might consider looking else where for a better option thanks for the input.

No, I dont believe you get noise from town driving, or any unwanted movements out of the pinned arm.
