This weekend my interior lights started to strobe. When you open the door and the lights are to turn on they flash instead of staying on. This includes the little red ring around the key hole. The car starts fine so it doesn't seem to be a dead battery, but is this a sign the battery is going. By looking at the battery it looks old. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Lynden

No, it means the fuse for the dome light is blown. Really(!). It's a 10 amp fuse behind the panel beneath the steering column. You didn't do any wiring this weekend, did you?

Fuse is blown? My lights did the same thing for about a day a year ago, but then it went away and now the lights work and dim like they always had. Does this possibly mean something else?

well it depends...
how many times does it flashes?
4 times... is what Axels said..
if you are like...me
6 times...
it is mostly a ground problem and I haven't found it yet.. 6 months in this shit. now I just say that it is a DISCO so it should come with a mirror ball now that I have the strobe....
also I should concider a fog machine...
damn it!

Man, this board is invaluable. It's like my own personal Disco. genie. Ask the genie what the problem is and he knows. Thanks again guys. I'll replace the fuse, I didn't do any wiring, but one of the boys was in the rig all weekend four wheeling (he's 6). So probably w/ the door open the fuse burnt out.
Thanks again,
Lynden
