i got the 8mm as this is the largest you can fit into the stock looms - makes the car idle and run very smooth - nice improvement.

Aside from diameter, a spark plug wire is a spark plug wire, right?

I would like to replace my wires, but the local shop doesn't carry any 7.5 or 8 mm wires for a rover. So I am wondering why not find the Buick V8 wire loom and use it, assuming the lengths are okay.

What year is your truck? lengths of 95 "might" be the same, 96 would not be the same. You can cut your own or just order from magnecor or genuine ones. Spark plug wires are different and vary in quality and design. Most will work but why not get something that works correctly.

I have a 95, I am looking for good ones, I have thought about the Magnecor ones.

I agree, I want to get one that work correctly, I am just considering all of my options, if I can save $10 and get the same quality then I will.

How much do you wanna pay? Magnecor is offering (or was) a deal to Rover owners, their 7mm wire set for $51 shipping included. 8mm and 8.5mm weren't much more expensive. I took 'em up on the offer for some 7mm wires, considering a set of Bosch standard wires was 49.99 at Autozone. But the Magnecor's are great. Good hot wires.
