I've been on a waterproofing kick lately and have applied dielectric silicone to every connection I can get my hands around.
Question is when it comes to unplugging the ECU - should it be done with the battery disconnected/connected? Any thoughts/experience?

DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST!!! I service office equipment for a living and you always remove the power source B4 you unhook a circuit board. Have fun swimming
