Calling all electrical experts:
I am installing a pair of seats from a 97 Discovery onto my Defender 110. I am not sure how to install the wiring for the Power Seats.
I have the switches and few relays that came with the seats.
What I see under the seat is a plug with 8 pins.
Two sets parallel to each other. One set is fed by yellow wires and the other by green wires. There is also another small 2 wire plug, but I think that is for the seat belt lights so I will ignore them for now.
I have all the switches with the wires hanging off them as well.
I would like to hook the seats through my fuse box of my Defender (1991 D110)and preferably the relays.
Can someone please advise me of a easy way to wire this. I have no knowledge of electrical connections and hate to hook up a wrong lead and fry the motor.
I am planning on mounting the switches on my cubby box.
Since I dont see a black wire going to the plug under the seat I am wondering where the ground is.
Thanks in advance.
