I just bought a 95 Discovery and the leather on the driver's side is a little rough. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for seat covers that fit well? I dont really like the oem covers much, they look like a loose fit. Any custom fitted or other alternatives?

Actually, the OEM seat covers fit great. All of the pictures in the catalogs show them right after they came out of the included storage bag. And I agree, they look like crap. Leave them on for two hours and the wrinkles will disappear and they will look and fit great. I've had them on for two years now and I am totally satisfied. Nothing else I've seen even comes close. Furthermore, the leather seats that they are protecting look brand new!
Email me and I will send pictures if you want.
Thanks,
Mike B.

i've always been a fan of the wet okole's - had a set on my cherokee and they were great - nothing on the landie yet - but will get wet's as soon as they start doing the all one color thing. right now you have to get a black border.
my parts guy at the l/r center advised against oem as they supposedly make alot of noise (?!?) but i guess everyone has their own pet fav!

That's silly. I have a set and they don't make any noise.
Thanks,

I too have the LR water proof seat covers.. However, I have also bought a seat cover for the front passenger seat from Orvis for my dog. They are very strong, rip resistant, water resistant, and even come with a thin pad the goes between the bottom of the seat cover and the seat to resist punctures. I have a green Disco so I got the green plaid (McCullum) ones and it looks pretty nice. Go to www.orvis.com then choose Travel, then Accessories, then Automotive. Click on the dog seat covers picture and it will take you to the sizes and prices and show you a better picture of an older Disco with them on the front seat. It is very well made (as every thing else I have bought from Orvis) and has held up well for over a year now. Come to think about it, not sure why I never ordered one for the driver seat.. Think I'll do that today
