I was watching the show Extra at lunch today and they previewed an episode on Ripleys Believe or Not on TBS that was showing some Chevy Blazer(70's model) losing it's brakes on what appears to be a steep rock outcropping in Moab. This blazer goes 100 feet or ??? and nose dives into a dirt embankment. It looked pretty cool and no one was hurt.

So whats the scoop?

The scoop is sand was scooped out at the bottom of Lions Back Ridge by the blazer upon impact. No serious injuries. They lost the master cylinder and enjone died so no power steering either.

hehe
After carefull wathing over and over. I came to the conclusion (Guess) that the master cylinder was very low on fluid.Going up there is no problem. When the nose angled down as she started the return trip the fluid rushed forward and the master cylinder sucked air,,,,oops,,,, compounded by not being in low gear ,,,,,,oops,,,,they were screwed... That shows though that Lions back is really no big deal , she made it that far down completely out of control. With control you can see that its no biggie. Just a mind thing... :)

I thought that might have been the Lions back but I didn't get a chance to see it long enough to tell... Looked like a wild ride.
