last night i went wheeling and the idiot in front of me slung mud all over my ass and it got in the tracks of the sunroof, when i went to close it it jumped track and screwed itself bad now it wont shut it just pops and grinds please tell me someone else had some crap like this happen and knows how to fix it

1] In future rides, dont get so close to guy in front, unless necessary. Let him throw his mud, wont bother you
2] All you can do, if you are doing it, is clean it best you can. Using it will only worsen your predicament. Try anything: bottle brushes, WD-40, Q-tips, garden hose, vacuum cleaner. You need to clean the guide rails & slides. Use a multi purpose grease on same after youve cleaned out the mess.
3]there are drain tubes for the sun roof at the corners. they need to be clear. If youve pluged them w/mud Haynes Manual reccomends using air to blow them out. GO EASY. Check drains with water carefully poured onto rails, should see draining under the car.
