I have a 96 Rover and the service engine light came on. I found out that they do this at 52500 miles but the shop wants $175.00 to check the truck and turn it off. Anyone know how to turn the light off on there own? Any help would be great.

I have a '95 Disco, and my sevice engine light is lit. I read the tech section, but it says to look for the red module on a '96 Disco. I looked, and I don't have a red module. Did they use a different color for the 95's? Has anyone reset their service engine light on a '95 using this method? Is the module in a different location? The battery disconnect method did not work.

I've answered my own question. I dug under the passenger seat and located the Emission Reminder module pictured in the tech section. Just an FYI for owners of '95 Discos.
