Just broke mine but looks like difficult to replace; what do I have to do to get to the radio connection?

Remove the radio. Then unplug the connection and pull it out through the fire wall. I just broke mine too. I was just outside pulling the stub off the the inside of the fender,in hope of it unplugging from the fender. Out of luck, it is all one piece untill it reaches the radio. I know what I'm doing Sunday.

Instead of removing radio, you can remove glove box and reach in to disconnect the antenae lead. I find it easier to remove fender bolts and remove the actual antenae from the top than underneath

I read on this site months ago, that you can go up through the wheel well, it is removable. I ended up taking the fender mostly off, as it was only about 6 or 8 screws/bolts. Open the door & hood to see the fasteners. Took about an hour. You need to pull the footwell panels down to route the new wire to the radio. There is probably an easier way, but I couldnt figure it out, and was too impatient to write here and wait.

Did the same thing. Got lazy plugging back the wheel well plugs. Trying to vent my antenna from underneath.
