A while back I had a really bad/erratic idle. It didn't matter whether the engine was hot or cold. Dealership found it was the MAFS and reset the ECM to specs. This seemed to work except the Landy sounded kinda rough at start up but got quiet afterwards. Now the idle problem seems to have come back. Does anyone have an idea as to what the problem is or may be? Thanks for any and all info!

Try the IAC on the rear of the intake manifold. It's called the stepper "motor" although it's NOT a motor. I guess it's a plunger ass'y or solenoid of some sort. I've never had mine off, but it's 3 bolts and a couple of hoses. Clean up the plunger and reassemble. There's a gasket behind it...make sure the holes line up or that can restrict airflow.
