could you point us to the link that states this. must be someone on the BBS. RN themselves would not make this statement i am sure. i thought madza made that thing anyhow. or other way around. the ford has 2 engine options, neither of which are the same as the 175 hp (approx) of the freelander. (one is 130 and the other is 200) the freelander is essentially a ladder frame truck as well. pretty sure the ford is unibody. anyhow we all know they are not the same. nuf rambling for me.

Actually, the Freelander is unibody. (though, it does have a bunch of trusses similiar to an actual ladder frame vehicle).
