New guy, no idea where to locate these things. I got the tale-tell signs of clogged drains--water under passenger and driver footwell/mist coming out of the A/C-and a slow leak coming from below glove compartment.
Going under the car--is there a trail to get to the drain pipes?
Please help.

I have a picture of them on my digi cam - can't download & post on DWEB until Monday, though. Crawl under the center of the Disco, right under the transmission, and look to either side. The nipple on the passenger side (USA) of the tranny is easier to see. It's wayyyy up there against the body - it only extends down about an inch. Be careful, I rubbed my nipples and got water all over my face. ok, that sounds wrong.

If you look up there long enough to find it, a drop of water will hit you right between the eyes, revealing the secret location.

Ask me how I know this....

Discoguy, im on my way to NYC I can help you out...That is if you havent done it yet! look to either side of the tranny, way up in there you will see two rubber black nipples, they look like the top of a whipped cream cansiter ( pointed with 4 slits) pul them out, they are peobably clogged all to hell....soak em in soapy hot water for five minuets or so, and clean them out well...also if you can find something like a syringe, or turkey baster, squirt some hot water/bleach up in the actual hole, dirt ect might be caught there as well. you can also use a coat hanger to dislodge some gunk. Im about 5 hours from NYC, and leaving soon for a small vactaion weekend....call ifyou wanna meet up and shoot the shit..joshua 315.491.5674

Josh,
Coming to NYC. Cool. Unfortunately, I'm going up to the Hamptons tonite or early tomorrow.
I'm probably going to let LR dealer do all the work, I opened up my floorwells and the padding under the carpets are soaked! Needs to be replaced, water drained, etc. I'll give them a hard time about all this cuz I just bought the car in March, see if they do all this pro-bono.

You may wish to try "Natures Miracle" after you've cleaned things up. It's mostly sold in pet stores as a cleaner for "soiled carpets". It does a real good job on odors, etc.

Glad you cleared it up.
