My ABS Light had recently come on and stayed on. I took it to my local Rover dealership and they replaced the switch. Stayed off for a good long time. Now, if I hit a major bump with my rear wheels, the light comes on, and won't go off again until I turn the car off, then back on again. Doesnt seem to affect the functionality of the Antilock system, as i tested it the other day with hard braking while the light was still on - antilock still works fine. I'm thinking maybe i have a short of some kind back there....
and sugguestions???

My light stays on too. LR said that my fault code was 2-2 but didn't now what that meant. Good job LR!

Mine did the same thing and the sensor for ABS was physicall loose. Just remove the tire - disconnect- clean and reattach. Hope this helped.
