Have been thinking of getting this, but would love some info from people that have used it in the past. Was it as good as it sounds? How did it work,etc..?

i am on my second one through them. actually the dude i deal with is Hal Moses. they are not the actual warranty company, but rather a broker for many companies. my first one through auto advantage was an API warranty. the one i have now is buyers choice. i kinda liked the API one better. they paid the mechanic over the phone. now i have to pay for it and then wait to be repaid by buyers choice. just a hassle a little. they don't cover a few things that API did either. get a copy of the warranty and compare it to others. i do know that API's prices went up. i paid $1700 for a 4 year warranty and my truck had about 45,000 when i bought it. they have been great in the past, so i would have no hesitation telling you to get one from them. the way mine works is that you take your truck to a mechanic (that knows that rovers can leak in areas) and they make sure all is good and well. your mechanic sends that in and then they 'approve' your contract. once you have it you can take your truck to any mechanic......dealer, exxon station, billy bobs, whoever. as long as they have a valid license to work on cars. mine has a $100 deductable. not bad when you consider a nice valve job can set you back a several months rent. or a new tranny double that. so i find it very wise to get an extended warranty for your truck. good piece of mind for sure. anything else just ask.
