I know this has been posted hundreds of times, I haven't found one in town here (imagine Spokane WA not having a LR chilton's). And I know there's somewhere on the web, what's the address?
Thanks in advance.
Lynden

Ebay usually has them. Roverconnection.com also.

Local stores don't have them as they're for the UK only, not USA. But they work on US Discos fine.

T Carr -- are you talking about the Haynes ones? I don't think Chilton has them for LR.

Lynden - You are better off with the LRworkshop manual. I have both and usually always end up using it instead of the Haynes.

For what it's worth, here is a link to the best deal on the Haynes. Comes out to around 28 shipped from the UK. http://www.haynes.co.uk/inc/viewmanual.asp?mt=3016

What ever anyone ever does, do not buy the Castrol/Porter Pub. LR Disco and RR Service Guide. If you know how to change your oil, spark plugs and check your windshield wipers then you will find this book excellent for toilet paper. I order it at a Barnes&Noble and I have NEVER found anything useful in it.

Recently I was looking for the serpintine belt patern and I couldn't even find that in it, I had to look at some ad in LRO for LR engines to figure out the patern.

This book is going out Kyle's window!

I use alldatadiy.com. Lots of step by step repair info specific to the LR. Plus lots of exploded diagrams and pictures of stuff. It is really good for troubleshooting electrical circuits because it is very specific about circuit numbers and wire colors. Plus you get full access to TSB and recall info. So if there is a TSB on something you will see step by step what is involved to fix it plus it will list LR part numbers. It also lists LR part numbers for other stuff and includes prices and labor time involved. An excellent web based resource - comperable to a factory level manual - but costs 24 bucks a year per vehicle.

Jason, does this site include info on the Series II or just the original?

go to the site and check it out. www.alldatadiy.com
They cover about everything on the road. I have a 98 se7. I also use it for my 96 grand cherokee and 98 jeep wrangler. There is some sample info there you can check out as well.
