Sorry if this has been covered before, I searched the archives but didnt find anything.
Last year I got my 96 disco used with the LR wraparound brush guard on front, and no winch.
The 235/75 16 needed replaced and looked very small so I put some 245/75 16 on. I only needed to adj. the steering stops.
I put Bilstiens on last fall, and am looking for some more stability on the country roads.
I am now going to replace the springs and am leaning towards the MD OME all around.
My wife is the primary driver of the truck, I only get to drive it on the weekends so its used 20% on the highway, 70% country roads and 10% off road. With very little gear if any.
Since I got the truck used Im not sure what springs are on now, so I was wondering if anybody has this setup on theirs?
Will I need to do any trimming at the rear?
Is this a decent setup for what Im looking for?
Thanks

I do mostly towing in my 95 disco, not much offroading here is Florida. John at RoverTym is working on Heavy Duty Springs with keeping stock height (4-6 weeks) Personally, I would wait for this setup. His products have received great feed back from fellow discowebers. Some people experience drive train vibration with lifts, and might have to convert to U-joints.

Are you sure you have 245 75/16's? Everyone says they would rub on a stock truck. If so that's cool because I'm looking at new tires soon. What brand to you have? I'd love to get into those if I could. Otherwise I'm looking at 245 70's. Let me know.
Thanks in advance.

in talking to arb themselves, the only rovers with vibration were the first of the series 2 with the ealy 40mm lift. from what i have been told the light and mediums are just fine.

Yes I definitely have 245 75/16's Pirelli Scorpion A/Ts.
From what Ive read on this board it seams there is a need for some trimming when running these tires at stock height. I didnt need to do any trimming so I assume that the springs arent stock.
Last night I measured from center of wheel to fender lip and got aprox. 19.5 front and 21.5 rear.
Does anybody out there know aprox. what these dimensions will be with OME MD?
Id like to avoid any trimming if possible.
Thanks
