Disco II: Can someone explain the Manual mode button, which is next to the gear lever? I mean, I can lock the top gear to anything I want by putting it in 3rd, 2nd or 1st anyway. And in manual mode in 3rd, the car still starts off in 1st, and isn't locked in 3rd. Confuso!

Nobody uses manual mode it seems :-(

Sorry, I haven't even used it yet...in fact I forgot it was there. I use the sport mode often, but never tried the manual.....
