I was looking at the news section. RObbie Donaldson has Jackpoints installed on his disco.
I woudl be really interested in hearing from Robbie and any others who have bought these.
Would like to know
-how useful
-how easy to install
- any other information you have.

They look pretty good to me so any feedback - good or bad would be great.
by the way, I have a '98 discoI c/w brush guard. I havn't yet taken the dremmel to the plactic bumper ends nor have I removed the spoiler

I really like the TM Jackpoints, they are sturdy and very well made, and they would be great for someone who does not have a brushguard, and you would need to do nothing more then remove the airdam and plastic piece that holds your license plate. With that being said, I do have a stock brushguard. In order to really make them work and be effective, both as jackpoints and recovery points, you really need to do some "bodgering" to your brushguard. The brush bar covers up the recovery holes of the JackAdapt, so you need to drill out the holes in your brushguard in order to accomodate some D-rings. You can see that here:

You also may need to cut slots in the bottom support bar of the brushguard in order to get the HiLift in close enough to lift. So if you are willing to do all this, then I say go for it. If you have any other questions, ask away.

Robbie - thanks for the input.
you can find mine at

as you can see, stock with factory bumper - airdam etc.

I still like the look of the factory truck, and the jackpoints are pretty well hidden yet rather useful when you need them. Iam not likely to bolt on a safari guard for quite some time.

again - thanks
