For awhile now, when I would make a left turn the steering would "stick" a little bit while returning back to the center position. Now it's doing almost the same thing to the right too, and makes a "pop" kind of sound when it does. And when I go out of my driveway or slowly over a small bump there is a popping sound too. I also notice a clicking sound in sync with the wheel speed. I visually checked the linkage and it looks ok, there's some oil on the link directly under the power steering module, and About 8 months ago the dealer said I had a small leak in the steering swivel assembly, but that it should be ok. Thanks for any help.

May sound obvious, but check the nut that holds the pitman arm onto the steering box. If it's worked itself loose in can cause slop, leaking, and odd sounds. Start there.

It sounds very much like your steering damper is either damaged or as dirt/mud packed inside the shaft cover. Replace it there very cheap and easy to install

check the pitman arm: they are prone to loosening over time. service records for my truck show two times in shop for that.
