Thanks to all of you that suggested I purchase a breaker bar and 27mm 1/2" socket to change my spare. I had a blow out late last night on the interstate with my wife and 5mth old in the car. My Disco took it in stride and I changed it in no time. The breaker bar is definitely the way to go.

As an aside, when I released the valve on the jack for the truck to come down, some oil came out. Do I need to maintain the jack or is it shot?
I may just buy a new 3 1/2 ton bottle jack anyways.
