After my blowout yesterday, I need some new tires. Anyone had these tires? Experiences?
Please no Firestone Jokes!!!

I had Dueler A/Ts in 235/75-15 on an old Waggoneer that I had.

Great tire, tough tire, good on trails, fine on road in all weather. Didn't have enough bite in extra muddy situations, though. For that particular vehicle, I would have been happier with the M/T version....

On a Disco, it'll probably be fine as a general tire. Don't go boggin' w/ it, but for genreal duty it should do.

Oops, that's "general duty", not "genreal"...

Michelin xpc 235-70-16. The standard disco tire.

people are still buying the Bridgestone/Firestone brand? I suppose prices have dropped dramatically?

I've got them in 245/70R16. They've been great, except for a few small slow leaks that I've had, but that could be just my driving style. I've punctured them on several occassions and after patched, they still hold up well. I echo what Leslie said, in heavy mud, they'll just clog up and will be almost useless. Other off-road situations, they are just fine. On road, no louder than stock tires.

Jorge
I had them on a Nissan HB 31/10.5/15 I felt they sucked on road, off road they where slippery in the rain, in the snow. I read that some like them. It is all opinions. I had General AP before that loved them.It is hard to say weather you will like them it will all depend on what you have planned for you Disco. Good Luck

Bridgestone IS different than Firestone... Firestone was bought by Bridgestone to be their cheapo brand. Bridgestones I still like... not AS well as I used to, but I've never liked Firestones anyway...

Disregard this message. I ended up getting TOYO 235 70 16 transpath su tires. Same ratings as stock xpc michelins, but much more quieter and about 120 each. Happy so far with them even during a nice rainstorm Saturday.
