I just purchased a 96 Disco SD for my daughter and it came with 2 (two botton) keyless remotes that the owner told me would work if they had new batteries. I have installed the new batteries, now how do I reprogram them so that they work? The FAQ section only addresses this topic for models up to 1995, mine is a 1996.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Joe,
As far as I know, the two button remotes must be reprogramed by the dealer, using their "Testbook" tool. If you're buddy-buddy with a dealer, they might do it for free. Otherwise, it's probably an hours labor charge (for a 15 minute job). Good luck with the Disco!

Per the owners manual on our 1997 SD, take the remote get up next to the vehicle and hit the lock button 4 times. It worked when our 2 button remotes became unsynchronized.
