I'm probably in the 1 percentile, but I really use that weather band...so I want to keep the radio, but I would like to improve the crappy reception on both AM and FM.

Just change the antenna?

What do you guys think?

Changing the antenna and checking the wire between the antenna and the radio will probably work, another option is to get a CB with weatherband (you need one if your are going to wheel with other people anyway) and upgrade the stereo.
That's just an idea, I still have my stock stereo, a killer system is not one of my priorities at the moment.
