Guys, I'm thinking of buying two power roofs from a parts Rover. Does the guy have to yank every wire out of the headliner and roof vertical beams, etc. or just give me the roofs' hardware and switches?
THANKS!

Good Question -- do that preload these trucks for all options and you can add as you go?

I would get a hold of roverwrecks.com and ask them to take a look inside one of their wrecks w/out sunroofs and see what is behind the headliner.

Or call a dealer. I would almost think the guys in the body shop would give you a straight answer, the parts guys may see it as an opertunity to sell you something you don't need.

contact your local webasto hollandia installer. they will know. webasto is the oe supplier to land rover uk i believe. also the factory portal is quite small. they have a front unit part # 6320 or 6230(?) 'spoiler sunroof' (exterior slide out) that have a glass panel 18" x 39" that should fit quite nicely. this is one of my planned upgrades. the factory roof is currently on national back order due to problems with grinding and not being able to keep 'timing'. also the larger roof gives an opening of 366"square vs. 160"square for factory, more than double.
