Here's a curious bit I bet ya'll haven't tried.

You can double the range of the lock/unlock key fob transmitter if you hold it up to you chin when you key it. *Triple* the range if you open you mouth....strange, but true. *Try it* if you don't believe me. (Now someone please explain the phenomena....)

Cheers

Signal bouncing off your hard (upper) pallette. Headache is brain tumor - go see your doctor.

Works even better between your legs if you are excited and "point" to the vehicle. Enjoy!

I learned this little trick last semester at school as me and my fraternity brothers were picking up our dates from a sororrity house. I was ecstatic and now I press the fob to my temple which seems to offer me the best reception in the field. The only drawback to the whole situation is that after I explained why I was so excited about the key fob (land rover hysteria I think) they made it relatively clear that my chances of seeing any of them naked are relatively slim.

but now I don't have to be within 2 1/2 feet of my truck to make it work!!

I wonder if brain's electromagnetivity is enhancing signal from keyfob; perhaps with some kind of harmonic reverberation within the braincase further amplifying the signal? Does it work only when you're looking in the direction of the Rover (i.e. signal emanating from eye sockets, nasal cavities, and mouth)? I'll have to try this later tonight when it's dark and my neighbors can't see me...
