Yes, this is really a tough tech question! I ended up getting a couple of patches of pine sap on my seat over the weekend. I'm not sure if it was from the sunroof being opened or from my waders... Any good ideas for getting the crap off the seat, without ruining the leather?

Use goof-off, but don't let it stay on the leather - clean it with simple green or similar right afterwards.
ie: Goof-off removes the sap
Simple green removes the Goof-off!
